General Electric developed the DS200SLCCG1AEE card to operate as a local area network (LAN) communication card.The unit was designed for GE’sMark V drive board series.Exciters and drives across the GE brand can have this card installed.From the board this device provides the host drive with an interfacing space for LAN communications. The board is designed with thecircuits for both ARCNET and DLAN networking interfaces.
The DS200SLCCG1AEE LAN communication board provides the host drive withisolated and nonisolated circuits for communications. Signals sent to the board are filtered with theintegrated LAN control processor (LCP). The board includestwo EPROM memory cartridgesto store programming data for the LCP. The board includes adual ported RAM for the LCP to interface with the hosts’ drive control board.Users can easily access board diagnostics and system settings with the attached programmer. This16 key alphanumeric programmercan be easily attached to the board.
