FTA-T-18 Honeywell HART Analog Output Module

The Honeywell FTA-T-18 is a fail-safe digital input module that is designed for use in safety-critical applications. It is a 16-channel module that can be used to monitor a variety of digital inputs, such as switches, sensors, and relays. The FTA-T-18 uses a variety of features to ensure reliable operation, including:

1. Dual-channel design: Each input channel is monitored by two independent processors. If one processor fails, the other processor will continue to operate correctly.
2. Fault detection and diagnostics: The FTA-T-18 continuously monitors its own health and will generate an alarm if a fault is detected.
3. SIL 2 certification: The FTA-T-18 is certified to Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 2, which means that it can be used in applications where a failure could result in serious injury or death.

Note

Previous versions of this power supply had five terminals on the terminal block. The new version (shown above), which has six terminals, is functionally the same as the previous version. The change was made to conform to European EC requirements.
