All 20/30 Series system processors have an I/A Series Virtual Real-Time Executive (VRTX) operating system enabling operations for the real-time environment. The Real-Time Executive is essential in the time-critical processors. VRTX provides up to 255 priority levels and 350 ms context switching. Integrated with VRTX is our layered communications subsystem, based on ISO standards.
