Using the Average of the three inputs – When all are functioning properly, the Average of the three is used as the resultant controlling signal. Upon the failure of one signal, the control system automatically reverts to the Average of the remaining two inputs and automatic control continues, uninterrupted. Maintenance can be performed on the offending signal without loss of runtime.
