Foxboro Module FEM100

Overview

The Foxboro FEM100 is a Fieldbus Expansion Module that provides four additional Expanded Fieldbuses to an I/A Series FCP270 controller. This allows the FCP270 to support a larger number of 200 Series (or equivalent) Fieldbus Modules (FBMs). The FEM100 communicates with the FBMs using the 2 Mbps HDLC protocol.

The FEM100 also supports a variety of communication protocols, including Modbus, IEC 60870-5-101/104, DNP3.0, IEC 61850, and Ethernet/IP. This makes it easy to integrate the FEM100 into existing systems.
