Description

The Bently Nevada 990 is a two-wire, loop-powered vibration transmitter that is designed for use with Bently Nevada's 3300 NSv proximity probe. The transmitter conditions the signal from the probe into a proportional 4 to 20 mA output that can be used by a machinery protection system for alarming and logic.
The 990 transmitter is a simple and cost-effective solution for monitoring vibration on a variety of machinery, including:
Centrifugal air compressors
Small pumps
Motors
Fans
Features
Integrated Proximitor Sensor: The 990 transmitter does not require an external sensor.
Non-isolated "PROX OUT" and "COM" terminals: These terminals provide a dynamic vibration and gap voltage signal output for diagnostics.
Non-interacting zero and span potentiometers: These potentiometers allow for easy loop adjustment.
Test Input pin: This pin allows for quick verification of loop signal output.
Not OK/Signal Defeat circuit: This circuit prevents high outputs or false alarms due to a faulty proximity probe or loose connection.
Choice of mounting options: The 990 transmitter can be mounted using DIN-rail clips or bulkhead mounting screws.
