Description

The Bently Nevada 991-25-50-01-00 Thrust Transmitter is a 2-wire, loop-powered device that provides a 4-20 mA proportional axial displacement (thrust) signal for input to machinery control systems. It is designed for use with centrifugal air compressors, small pumps, motors, and fans.
The transmitter is equipped with an integrated Proximitor sensor, which eliminates the need for an external unit. It also features a non-isolated "PROX OUT" and "COM" terminals plus a coaxial connector that provide a dynamic vibration and gap voltage signal output for diagnostics.
The 991 transmitter is easy to install and use. It features non-interacting zero and span potentiometers under the Transmitter label for loop adjustment, a Test Input pin for quick verification of loop signal output, and a Power-up Inhibit circuit that eliminates signal errors due to line voltage transients.
The transmitter is also protected against false alarms by a Not OK/Signal Defeat circuit that prevents high outputs or false alarms due to a faulty proximity probe or loose connection.
The 991 transmitter is available with a choice of DIN-rail clips or bulkhead mounting screws as standard options. It is also potted for high humidity (up to 100% condensing) environments.
