Original 990 Vibration Transmitter
Description
The Bently Nevada 990 Vibration Transmitter is a two-wire, loop-powered device that is designed for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) of centrifugal air compressors, small pumps, motors, or fans. The transmitter accepts input from a Bently Nevada 3300 NSv proximity probe and conditions the signal into a proportional 4 to 20 mA industry-standard signal. This signal can then be used as input to a machinery control system for protection and alarming.
Features
Integrated Proximitor Sensor: The 990 transmitter does not require an external sensor.
Non-isolated "PROX OUT" and "COM" terminals plus a coaxial connector: These terminals provide a dynamic vibration and gap voltage signal output for diagnostics.
Non-interacting zero and span potentiometers: These potentiometers allow for easy loop adjustment.
Test Input pin: This pin allows for quick verification of loop signal output.
Not OK/Signal Defeat circuit: This circuit prevents high outputs or false alarms due to a faulty proximity probe or loose connection.
Choice of DIN-rail clips or bulkhead mounting screws: These options simplify mounting.
