Description

S900 stellt Ein-/ Ausgangsmodule zur Verfügung, die für den eigensicheren Anschluss der Feldsignale erforderlich sind. In den S900-Modulen werden die Feldsignale digitalisiert und galvanisch getrennt über einen internen Bus bereitgestellt. Ein Buskoppler übernimmt die Umsetzung dieser Signale in das standardisierte Feldbus-protokoll Profi bus DP V1. Übergeordnete Prozessleitsysteme, speicherprogrammierbare Steuerungen oder SCADA-Systeme kommunizieren über diesen ebenfalls eigensicher ausgeführten Feldbus mit dem Buskoppler. Die Konfi guration der einzelnen S900-Stationen, der zyklische Datenaustausch sowie alle azyklischen Dienste und die Kommunikation mit HART-Feldgeräten werden über ein und das selbe Feldbusnetzwerk abgewickelt. Bei der Installation und Instandhaltung ist der schnelle Austausch aller Ein-/Ausgangsmodule rasch durchführbar: Module und die wahlweise redundanten Buskoppler können in allen S900-Serien im laufenden Betrieb getauscht werden. Integrierte, gekapselte Abschaltmechanismen erlauben den Austausch der Netzteile ebenfalls unter Spannung. Mit seiner platzsparenden, robusten Ausführung sowie dem Schutz vor Umwelteinfl üssen ist das S900 Remote I/O System die bevorzugte Lösung für den direkten, kostensparenden Vororteinsatz in den ExZonen 1 oder 2 oder auch in nicht-Ex-Bereichen.
