The Allen-Bradley 1756-IA16 is a ControlLogix I/O Module. This AC digital input module is an isolated type and has a display that shows the input and communication status and module health. The module’s input channels are individually isolated which are also individually rated at 125 Volts continuous input. This module directly connects to a ControlLogix chassis. The inputs of this module feature a change of state that can be manually configured by the user through the RSLogix 5000 software. Removable terminal block housings compatible with this module are the 1756-TBCH and the 1756-TBS6H. The input voltage and voltage category of this module are both 120 Volts AC. The current draw at 24 Volts is 3 milliamps and for 5.1 Volts, it is 125 milliamps. The module’s operating voltage ranges from 79 to 132 Volts AC and 47 to 63 Hertz.
