Description

The Allen-Bradley 2711-B6C1 is a PanelView 600 Operator Terminal. This compact and scalable Human Machine Interface (HMI) features a 5-inch output screen, installed with a Color active matrix TFT. This screen features a resolution of 320 x 234 pixels and an effective display area of 15 x 86 mm or 4.54 x 3.4 inches. With a colored screen, the 2711-B6C1 supports implementation of colored animation wherein status of devices and equipment may be depicted by color coded display. The screen is installed with a replaceable backlight with expected operational lifespan of 50,000 hr. 1/2 life at 25 °C (77 °F). The appropriate replacement backlight unit is has a catalog number 2711-NL5. The 2711-B6C1 features a high-speed Remote I/O communication interface (RIO) wherein up to 32 devices may be installed in one RIO segment. Compatible cable for implementing RIO network is 1770-CD or Belden 9463 cable. It also comes with an RS232 printer port for printing alarm list and messages. Control can be made through embedded Keypad assembly and Touch sensitive screen, allowing operational flexibility. The 2711-B6C1 requires an external voltage supply of 85-264V AC, along a frequency of 47-63 Hz. This HMI terminal is built with a Random Access Memory (RAM) amounting to 170KB and a non-volatile memory with 240KB memory size which is expandable up to 32Mb via ATA memory cards. The 2711-B6C1 application is designed with the use of the PanelBuilder32 configuration and programming software. This software application allows offline configuration, testing, troubleshooting and commissioning of the PanelView 600 Standard Operator Terminal.
