SLC 500 modular systems provide separate power supplies which must be mounted directly on the left end of the 1746 I/O chassis. The 1746 I/O chassis are designed for back-panel mounting and available in sizes of 4, 7, 10, or 13 module slots. The 1746 I/O modules are available in densities up to a maximum of 32 channels per module
